Rice Terrace Villa
The Rice Terrace Villa faces east over the Tegallalang terraces, so the sun comes up straight in front of your pool. It is built from reclaimed ironwood and hand-cut green Sukabumi stone, with a sunken lounge pavilion for slow afternoons and a stone bathtub that opens onto a walled garden of ferns. It is our quietest villa, and the one honeymooners ask for.

Jungle Suite
The Jungle Suite hangs over the river gorge under a high alang-alang roof, with nothing in front of it but trees. It is made for longer stays: a teak desk that looks into the canopy, fibre internet with Starlink behind it, a daybed pavilion that sleeps a third guest, and a rain shower under the trees. At night you will hear the river, and not much else.

Two separate bedroom pavilions, each with its own garden bathroom, sit either side of an open living room with a table for six. The 10-metre pool runs along a private lawn, so children can play in sight of the terrace while you read. Cots, high chairs, and a pool fence are ready before you arrive, and the kitchenette means nobody has to wait for a snack.

The Grand Villa steps down two levels of the ridge. Upstairs are three king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and balcony. A butler looks after you for the whole stay, from the airport to the last dinner.
